Gerade bei Audiokabel-Verbindungen zwischen den einzelnen Geräten spielt die Kabelkapazität eine entscheidende Rolle.
Da die Signalquellen sehr schwach sind und empfindlich auf hohe Kabelkapazitäten reagieren,
ist die Luft-Isolation durch die Air-Helix-Technologie geradezu prädestiniert für Audiokabel.

Für das Referenz NF-1204 Air haben wir darüber hinaus einen komplett neuen RCA-Stecker entwickelt,
der vollständig lötfrei verarbeitet wird. Er besteht aus mehreren Teilen, welche erst im Laufe der Konfektion zusammengefügt werden.
Wie auch beim Lautsprecherkabel wird zunächst die dünne Lackschicht von den hochreinen Kupferdrähten des
€žCross Link Super Speed€œ-Hohlleiters maschinell entfernt,
anschließend der aus Tellurium-Kupfer bestehende Kontakt-Pin des Steckers unter 1,5 Tonnen Druck mit dem Leiter verpresst.
Auch die Kontaktierung der Abschirmung ist völlig neuartig: Sie wird jetzt hermetisch dicht verschraubt.
