Legendäres Live-Album des Bill Evans Trio, aufgenommen 1961 im Village Vanguard in New York. 

Gemeinsam mit Scott LaFaro am Bass und Paul Motian am Schlagzeug entstand eine der einflussreichsten Jazzaufnahmen aller Zeiten.

Das Album steht exemplarisch für den lyrischen, feinfühligen Stil von Bill Evans,
geprägt von subtiler Dynamik, Interaktion im Trio und außergewöhnlicher Klangästhetik.

Die Aufnahmen gehören zu den bedeutendsten Dokumenten des modernen Jazz
