Black Bottle Riot wurde 2008 im niederländischen Nijmegen gegründet und traf mit modernem Southern Rock schnell einen Nerv.
Nach dem selbstbetitelten Debüt 2011 folgten zwei weitere Alben im Zwei-Jahres-Takt.

Dazwischen spielte das Quartett Clubs und Festivals, unter anderem an der Seite von ZZ Top, Pearl Jam, The Black Keys, The War On Drugs, Black Stone Cherry, Rival Sons und Ryan Adams.
