Seite 1 ist eine romantische Suite mit üppigen, nächtlichen Balladen.
Auf Seite 2 steigt eine Soul-Party ohne Pause.

Das Album wurde in Zusammenarbeit mit der Ray Charles Foundation vollständig restauriert und neu gemastert.
So klingt es heute frischer als vielleicht 1974, fernab der Klischees der damaligen Musikszene.
