»Cricklewood Green« erschien 1970, als Ten Years After nach ihrem legendären Auftritt in Woodstock auf einer Welle internationalen Erfolgs ritten.
Angetrieben von Alvin Lees rasend schnellem Gitarrenspiel hatte sich die Band vom Blues-Quartett zu einer der aufregendsten Gruppen der britischen Rockszene entwickelt.

Das Album verbindet Chicago-Blues-Wurzeln mit härterem Rock, Boogie-Grooves und ersten progressiven Einflüssen.
Die Single »Love Like A Man« wurde zum prägenden Song dieser Zeit und festigte den Ruf der Band auf beiden Seiten des Atlantiks.

Für diese Neuauflage wurde das Album bei Air Mastering frisch remastert.
Die zweite LP enthält Live-Aufnahmen aus dem Fillmore East vom 27. Februar 1970.
